Lab Technician - Purification

Job Title: Lab Technician - Purification
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

1) Performing oligonucleotide purification and characterization by following detailed instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs. Become proficient with complex and technical equipment and processes.

2) Organize work effectively to ensure efficient utilization of time and materials and to complete all procedures in a cGMP compliant manner.

3) Respond quickly and effectively to multiple and changing priorities, and to schedule work effectively to ensure that current and future needs are met.

4) Accurately and legibly record methods, materials, and results in batch records, according to established formats, and to keep supervisor informed on status of all projects and of significant findings and results in critical areas.

5) Participate in, or lead, various Group projects, activities and initiatives.

Education:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Scientific field, or equivalent mix of education and experience. Bachelors degree preferred, Chemistry or BioChemistry major preferred.

Experience:

0-4 years industry experience. 1+ years preferred
