Department Summary

Pharmacology and Neuroscience Department plays a crucial role in advancing our understanding of drug actions and the nervous system. It integrates basic science with clinical applications, aiming to improve human health through innovative research and education.

Position Overview

Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment, monitor experiments. Make observations and calculate and record results. Conduct research and assist in the conduct of research, including the collection of information and samples. Clean, maintain and prepare supplies and work areas. May analyze organic or non-organic substances.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
* Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
* Skill in recording and maintaining reports and details logs
* Knowledge of cleaning and sterilization best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related laboratory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
