ARC Industries is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional, this is a 2nd shift position, M- F 3pm-8pm with an hourly wage of $19.10. We offer free Dental and Vision benefits, a choice of 3 Medical plans, PTO, Holiday pay and paid training are just a few reasons to join our amazing team!

Summary/Objective:

Under the general supervision of the Active Treatment Administrator, the Lead Direct Support Professional will oversee the daily 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm -8:00pm) program operations at ARC Grove City for ICF participants, in alignment with regulatory requirements from federal/state/county governing bodies. This role must strive to meet ARC's mission and to work toward assisting individuals to meet their goals.

Required Education and Experience:

Two years of direct experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, which includes
experience in the administration of Adult Services programs.

High School Diploma or GED

Eligibility Qualifications:

Must possess the ability to approach projects in a practical and entrepreneurial manner with strong creative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Must have demonstrated experience measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of in-house program services.

Previous experience with DODD accreditation process.

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to work with a diverse group of staff, parents, administrators and community partners with a strong customer service focus.

Must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology in all facets of work including standard office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must possess a strong sense of professionalism.

Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

A strong desire to build and work in a collaborative environment.

Extensive experience handling confidential information including familiarity with HIPPA requirements and compliance.

Previous experience leading staff through significant organizational transitions.

Solid ability to handle ambiguous situations and make decisions/recommendations on next steps.

Ability to build rapport quickly with internal and external customers.

Strong desire to support the mission of the organization.

This role must possess and maintain a valid State of Ohio driver's license and an acceptable point limit to be eligible as an Agency driver.
