Job Description:

The Utility has a diverse generation portfolio of more than 2,600 megawatts of traditional generation and more than 450 megawatts of
renewable energy. Austin Energy has led the nation in sales of renewable energy by a utility-sponsored program for the last seven years in a row.
The Utility also offers some of the most comprehensive rebates in the country for residential and commercial customers to make energy-efficiency
improvements to their homes and buildings.
WORK DESCRIPTION: (Add specifics of this contract)
The IT Data Center Operations leads and supports the design, implementation and management of Enterprise Operations level infrastructure, Data
Center, and Middleware solutions. The Site Reliability Engineer supports, documents and maintains multi-platforms VMware business requirements
into recommendations on improvements and enhancements to the client operating environment. He/She reviews and supports complex NSX-T
configuration support to address those requirements needed. This includes developing and reviewing test plans, post implementation maintenance
plans and knowledge transfer by creating detailed system documentation and/or training documentation. Additionally, this position is responsible for
staying current on emerging networking technologies and methodologies including Software Defined Networking (SDN), Next-Generation Network
Monitoring, and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).

Required Skills:
  • 6 years of experience in managing VMware vCenter server and ESXi 6.x hypervisor
  • 3 years of experience in managing VMware NSX-T (SDDC)
  • 8 years of experience in configuring, installing, and supporting Windows Server Operating Systems(WindowsServer2012 R2, 2016, 2019)
  • 4 years of experience in managing VMware VDI Horizon
  • 1 year of experience in managing VMware VRops
  • 1 year of experience in managing VMware VRA
  • 3 years of experience in managing VxRail or VSAN Readynodes
  • 1 year of experience in managing Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS)
  • 3 years of experience in collaborating and communicating effectively across multiple subject matter groups.
