Job Description:
As a Tech Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and internal teams. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting and resolving software, and network-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of technical expertise. You will work closely with other technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, and you will contribute to the development of support documentation and training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries and provide timely and effective technical support via phone, or email.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software, and network issues.
Escalate complex issues to leadership and stakeholders and follow up to ensure resolution.
Document and track support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
Develop and maintain support documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
Provide training and guidance to customers and internal teams on technical issues and best practices.
Collaborate with product development teams to identify and resolve product issues and improve overall user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
Knowledge of the Ready Benefits system preferred
