Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing oversight and direction to team members; evaluating training programs or processes for effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement; and managing projects related to training programs.
Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors - if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.

Duties
- Manages an evaluation process and record keeping program to ensure course and program objectives are met and improvements to the curriculum are made in a timely manner.
- Administers, implements, and evaluates the Corporation's learning and development programs focused on job skills development for employees.
- Provides oversight on course development, training design plan, milestones schedule, and execution of implementation plan.
- Leads the team by identifying goals and objectives, assigning and distributing work tasks, projects, and deadlines, and by monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work completed.
- Researches, learns, and applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
- Provides advice and recommendations to management on a broad range of issues affecting job skills development and professional continuing education programs in the FDIC.
