Overview:
ProSync is seeking to hire a full-time member of ourntechnical team to implement and support a comprehensive end-point managementnsolution which includes:
• Patchnmanagement: automate the process of identifying and deploying softwarenpatches and security updates to endpoints, reduce the risk of securitynvulnerabilities and ensure systems are up to date.
• Softwarendistribution: distribute and install software applications and updates tonendpoints, ensuring systems are using the same versions of software andnreducing the time and effort required for manual installations.
• Endpointnsecurity: monitor endpoints for security threats, such as malware andnunauthorized access attempts, and take automated actions to remediate anynissues that are detected.
• Compliancenmanagement: ensure endpoints are configured and managed in compliance withnindustry standards and regulations.
Overall, the Linux/WindowsnSystems Administrator's job will be to improve the efficiency and effectivenessnof endpoint management in our organization, helping to reduce costs, improvensecurity, and ensure compliance.
What you will be doing:
Support the design of end-point security on infrastructuresnand systems. Possess working knowledge of implementing tasks that establishesnbaseline and analysis to remediate, patch, or harden systems.
• Consultnand validate hardware and software configurations of required servers, relays, portsnand firewall rules necessary for proper communication to endpoints, specific tonLinux and Windows environments
• Installnsolutions which includes: server software, console software, web reports andnWebUI components
• Activatennecessary functionality with "Component Content" including Inventory, Lifecycle,nCompliance components and other necessary functionalities for contentnmanagement.
• Developnnon-out of the box content using HCL end-point manager "Wizard" application contentnapplication, including testing and review of content for the corporate enclave
• Developncustom content specific for an enclave as directed.
• Reviewndeveloped enclave content and provide recommendations to approve applicablencontent for use in the corporate enclave if useful to the enterprise
• Integratenend-point services into the network environment providing visibility into criticalnconfiguration items to the platform and provide the data in approved format.
Requirements
Requirements for the position:
• Familiarity on deploying, solutioning, enablingnand assisting with projects involving endpoint management such as BigFix, Tivoli,nor HCL
• 10 to 15 years of System Administrationnexperience
• Understanding of SOA (Service OrientednArchitecture for Department of Defense)
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with recent Full ScopenPolygraph (within 2 years of service)
Desired Experience:
• Writing Software Test Plans
• Serving as Primary Interface to OEM and SoftwarenDevelopment Teams
• Strong customer service background
