Airswift is seeking a Logistics Specialist III to work in Spring TX, for a 14 month assignment (Subject to extension).

The Logistics Specialist provides subject matter expertise to operating teams. This role serves as an expert resource for Logistics, which may include aviation, marine, shore base, ground transportation, and camp services. The primary goal is to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-efficient logistic services. The Logistics Specialist demonstrates strong planning, scheduling, coordination, and administration skills and has the ability to influence without authority at all organizational levels.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, the Level 3 Logistics Specialist will:
  • Collaborate with Aviation and Procurement teams to optimize both helicopter and fixed-wing transportation.
  • Ensure all logistical support activities comply with company processes and controls.
  • Provide expertise for remote, onshore, and offshore logistics, including marine support commissioning, material transfer, and start-up procedures.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness doctrine, training, and drills.
  • Provide more technical/functional support rather than administrative support.
  • Make decisions within broad parameters.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other technical fields.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures related to logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities across organizations.
  • Behavioral Skills: Adaptability, analytical capability, applied learning, effective communication, sound decision-making.

Scope of Work for This Assignment
  • Benchmarking Program Development:
    Develop and sustain a Logistics benchmarking program focused primarily on marine (bulk and packaged), rail, and truck modes of transport.
  • Key Activities:
    • Identify core KPIs to measure global performance across transport modes.
    • Work with key vendors to obtain competitor intelligence.
    • Gather internal data for benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Collaboration:
    Work cross-functionally within Logistics teams to execute benchmark activities.
  • Critical Skills:
    • Ability to assess situations critically and provide industry insights.
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
    • Data familiarity and analytical skills.
  • Bonus: Logistics marine knowledge is a plus.
  • Performance:
