Maintenance Engineer (Part-time), Engineering (0724)

Job Summary

Operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as steam engines, air compressors, generators, motors, and steam boilers to provide utilities such as heat, or power for buildings and industrial processes. Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, repacking bearings, replacing packing glands, gaskets, valves, recorders, and gauges, and cleaning or replacing burners or other components. Maintains building, performing minor and routine plumbing and other related maintenance activities including, but not limited to furniture repair, flooring repairs, wheelchair repair, hospital bed repair, installing and removing televisions, etc. Replaces air filters in various types of air handling units and window air conditions and replacing water filters where necessary.

Requirements: Must possess, at a minimum, a State of Minnesota 2nd Class C Engineer's license, low pressure license. Knowledge of building automation systems and MS Outlook is desirable.

Wage: Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage of up to $33.87 per hour
