The Sales Manager 1 in Merchant Services will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base for our merchant services portfolio. This role will involve understanding merchants' requirements and offering customized solutions to meet their payment processing needs. The sales manager will lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets by developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of payment processing, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a sales team.

The Sales Manager 1 will report to the Senior Sales Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to merchants while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaboration with Intuit's support partners and resources will be essential in achieving your business objectives and meeting customer needs, contributing to our mission of disrupting the small business mid-market segment.

  • Quickly test new ideas, using our innovation practices, combining data and insight to learn and innovate rapidly
  • Coach employees and provide regular feedback to emphasize role priorities, including sales, forecast accuracy, problem-solving skills, and innovation
  • Manage a sales funnel and maintain a sustainable sales cycle to achieve quarterly targets
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to influence the consultant process
  • Utilize resources efficiently to manage account territory and close deals at scale
  • Measure success through key metrics including quota attainment, close rates, and pipeline velocity
