Responsible for ensuring resources, training, skills and knowledge to meet or exceed GME program goals and needs.
ResponsibilitiesDirects and oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned staff members. Manages staffing and personnel issues. Manages the annual performance appraisal process. Provides supervision to assigned staff and facilitates the development of and oversees their professional development plans. Oversees the hiring and orientation process. Develops and recommends policies and procedures to facilitate standardization of programs to ACGME requirements. Develops strategic program goals with the GME Program Coordinators to improve program management to meet ACGME program requirements. Ensures that all programs adhere to ACGME submission deadlines, and follow PEC and CCC processes. Ensures system components are properly and consistently operationalized. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications
- BA degree in relevant field required, Master's preferred.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in an academic, healthcare, or other directly related work setting.
- Yellow/Green Belt Certification
- Comprehensive knowledge of ACGME Program Requirements and GME's role in the organization.
- Ability to lead by example, maintain a results-oriented approach, and challenge self.
- Ability to build positive relationships and to make oral and written presentations.
- Ability to interpret, communicate and utilize data to make decisions and motivate staff to continuously improve practice.
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, work well under pressure, and meet multiple, competing deadlines.
- Ability to assign responsibility for tasks and decisions, set clear objectives and measures, providing ongoing feedback while monitoring results.
