We are currently seeking a Manager, Talent Learning & Development who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.
JOB SUMMARY
Manage complex and varied training projects by working with subject matter experts in support of employee learning and development.
Designs instruction, develops content, delivers and monitors educational programs for adult learners to ensure employees in department/office areas and business functions have the knowledge to perform their jobs and supervises staff to achieve business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise staff performing administrative, clerical, instructional, technical support and coordinate programs in Talent Learning and Development Department, including preparing, maintaining and storing training data in a Learning Management System.
Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to identify opportunities and recommend solutions to address learning needs.
Lead requirement gathering sessions and manages project tasks and deliverables then provides thorough input to post implementation and support plans.
Apply knowledge of a narrow specialty or specific discipline to design course curriculum and content, develop educational programs utilizing adult learner methodology for department/office areas and business functions.
Integrate best practices, communication, and change management strategies into educational initiatives.
Work with educational vendors to provide learning solutions, solves wide ranging problems and may recommend and implement learning solutions to broader business needs.
Deliver educational programs via wide- ranging methods, both formal and informal, through methods such as: hands-on, instructor led, virtual classroom, eLearning, mobile, audio/video, leaders as teachers, social learning, on-demand/self-led, virtual training, and partnering with educational institutions.
Provide input for learning assessments and tracks proficiency gains of employees using higher-level learning evaluation modelsDevelop, deliver and support post-implementation refresher educational programs and materials.
Monitor trends and research education and training related to emerging technologies, techniques and methodologies and shares information with colleagues ensuring ongoing improvement of educational programs, learning management systems and other educational tools.
Design and deliver on-going enterprise-wide and unit specific metrics reports detailing training event progress as well as completions ratios and percentages.
Responsible for oversight of a Learning Management System and analytical support and data analysis Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 5 years' experience supervising employee development required, including 3 years' experience developing and delivering e-Learning training programs
