In the role of Manufacturing Engineer II, you use Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products. You'll have the opportunity to serve as primary interface with external customers, analyze changes in customer specs in order to flow them down to manufacturing and interface with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals. This position contributes to our vision by:
• Supports standardization initiatives across business units;
• Coordinates with engineering team to implement company engineering strategies;
• Defines material sorting and grouping to match the process sequence and aid manufacturing;
• Documents sorting to match the process sequence;
• Resolves problems related to the manufacturing process;
• Identifies customer contract quality requirements and ensures implementation on all programs through quality plans and inspection and inspection and test plans;

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3-5 years experience in manufacturing and/or quality processes. Requires proficiency with
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - Basic
• Blueprint and schematics reading - Basic
• Problem Solving, root cause analysis and corrective action - Basic
• Ability to design layouts and fixtures to aid manufacturing (AutoCAD) - Basic
