Overview

Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures " Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design " Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility.
• Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment.
• Documents test procedures and results.
• Solves routine technical problems.
• Perform manual tasks according to established procedures
• Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operatinal processes
• Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
• Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you must have:

• A Vocational/Technical Training Degree
• 3-5 years experience
• Or equivalent combination of experience and education
