Manufacturing Technician 2

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Oxnard, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Swiss-army knife type technician position. Technician could end up performing any number of tasks. Examples of the kind of tasks are as follows: assembling large tooling structures, using two-part epoxies for bonding, assembling small/delicate mechanical flight hardware, working with and assembling composite structures, sewing/stitching mesh fabric.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge and experience with all common mechanical hand tools.
Knowledge and experience with fasteners and torquing mechanical fasteners.
Ability to read and understand blue-print style mechanical drawings.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek. Overtime, weekends, off-hours are all in play. Travel will not be necessary.
