This position supports the School of Education's marketing and communications efforts at a school-wide level. Reporting to the school's Director of Marketing and Communications and serving within the school's Dean's Office, the Marketing and Communications Manager is pivotal in the planning, creation, execution, and continuous assessment of marketing materials and strategic communications to help advance the mission-vision, strategy, and branding of the school. The Manager is responsible for a variety of core communications functions at the school. Responsibilities include the management of the school's social media platforms; overseeing event-based marketing and communications; managing several e-newsletters within the school's internal communications portfolio; creating e-mail content related to student recruitment and admissions marketing; and making content-based website updates to the School of Education website properties. Additional responsibilities include writing, editing, and producing content for articles published in the school's print and electronic vehicles. The individual is also responsible for intermediate-level graphic design and novice-level video editing work.

A degree, preferably in a marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, is required for this position, along with a minimum of three years of professional. Five years of relevant, professional experience is preferred.
