Insight Global is looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer to join the team. As a key contributor to the new semiconductor foundry construction project, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing mechanical systems. Your expertise in cleanroom environments, specialized equipment, and precision engineering will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of our state-of-the-art facility. You will work with project managers, architects and mechanical contractors to design and install critical mechanical systems within the semiconductor foundry including specialized equipment such as process tools, exhaust systems and gas distribution systems. This will be hands-on onsite at the construction site, not in an office environment.
Responsible for managing and supervising construction project life cycle - including execution of design, pre-construction, construction, QAQC, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for mechanical systems which could include clean room systems, HVAC systems, air abatement systems, and process water systems.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-10 years of mechanical engineering experience
- 3 years of experience in facilities engineering role including design, construction experience of clean room systems, heavy HVAC systems, air abatement systems, or heavy process water systems.
- Work experience in semiconductor projects or clean room requirements (contamination control, HVAC systems, particle filtration)
- Experience with AutoCAD, P&IDs, 1-line diagrams and construction drawings
- Experience overseeing install of specialized equipment such as process tools, exhaust systems, and gas distribution systems.
- Comfortable being onsite at the construction location (not an in office)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- BIM (Revit/Navisworks)
- Professional Engineer certification
