SUMMARY

The Mental Health Clinician (MHC) provides services to people who experience serious mental illness. This includes assessment, recovery focused treatment planning, group and individual training, group and individual counseling as well as crisis intervention. The position may provide service coordination and/or linkage to community services that meet the needs of the individual patient/consumer and engage in crisis prevention and management as necessary. The MHC may work in the hospital, outpatient clinic, or community settings including support provided in the home, at work/school or in shelters.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness)
• Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital setting
• Highly Preferred: Certification as an Applied Behavioral Analyst (ABA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
