Summary:

The Team Lead Senior Licensed Mental Health Clinician (Community Based Program) is responsible for providing comprehensive services to individuals experiencing serious mental illness. This role includes leading a team in conducting assessments, developing recovery-focused treatment plans, delivering group and individual therapy, and offering crisis intervention when necessary. The clinician may also conduct clinical quality reviews of other team members' work. Additionally, this role involves service coordination and linkage to community resources, crisis prevention and management, and delivering support in various settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, homes, workplaces, schools, or shelters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in assessment and recovery-focused treatment planning.
  • Provide group and individual training and counseling.
  • Conduct crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Perform clinical quality reviews of team members' work.
  • Coordinate services and link patients to appropriate community resources.
  • Engage in crisis prevention and management.
  • Provide support in diverse settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, homes, workplaces, schools, or shelters.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling or Behavioral Sciences.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with the SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness) and/or Addictive Disease populations, preferably in a full-time capacity.
  • Active Georgia LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license. Candidates transferring from another state must obtain a Georgia license prior to the start date.
