On our team, you'll provide advanced MongoDB database engineering support services to help agencies adopt and migrate to MongoDB and create associated standard operating process (SOP) documentation. You will also serve as a MongoDB database subject matter expert (SME) help agencies and their application owners understand what MongoDB entails and answer their questions. You'll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database.

In this role, you'll closely impact guarding our customers applications and their data against malicious actors, providing security and compliance. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we'll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on setting up and managing large-scale MongoDB databases

* Experience with MongoDB backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery procedures

* Knowledge of MongoDB architecture, including replica sets, sharded clusters, and data distribution

* Knowledge of MongoDB database performance tuning and optimization techniques

* Knowledge of MongoDB security features and best practices for securing MongoDB databases.

* Knowledge of MongoDB monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as MongoDB Cloud Manager, Ops Manager, or third-party solutions

* Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Possession of strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex database issues

* Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

* Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

* Master's degree

* MongoDB Certified DBA
