NERC Compliance Manager

Insight Global's renewable energy client is looking for a Compliance Manager of NERC to join their team in Potsdam, NY! The NERC Compliance Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Operations, will provide technical, administrative, and supervisory support to ensure NERC compliance for facilities in New York. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance records, researching NERC standards, training operations staff, developing procedures, leading the NERC working group, and tracking corrective action plans. This role requires a self-starter who can collaborate with regional Operations Supervisors and involves up to 25% travel throughout New York.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the electrical engineering industry
- Strong understanding of NERC and ability to read and interpret NERC standards and other issued documents
- Understanding of relay settings and changes
- Understanding of the national electric grid
- Experience managing the day to day of NERC and doing periodic testing

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Relay testing experience
