Night Shift Operations Manager - $60K Per Year + Benefits

Essential Functions

• 2+ years experience in the trucking industry, preferably as a driver manager or dispatcher
• Must have a great attitude and professional behavior
• Understanding of all FMCSA and DOT rules -regulations regarding dispatch and safety is a MUST
• Efficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
• MUST be exceptional with drivers and customer relations.
• Constant contact with all drivers on the phone, GPS tracking & in person
• Dispatch, assign / reassign drivers as needed
• Analyzes scheduling, reviews, revises driver schedules to increase efficiency for on time departures
• Maintains operation / Maintenance of equipment and communication systems
• Ensure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules as well as government regulations
• Required to be on a weekly on call rotation.
• Temp To Hire after 30 Days
• 11PM - 7AM

We are currently looking for a Operations Manager who has experience with the day to day operations of a busy dispatch office. The ideal candidate will ensure our drivers are meeting their pickup and delivery times each day and communicate any issues or delays to our customers.

This job also requires you to have extensive knowledge with all realms of DOT and FMCSA in regards to safety procedures and the ability to complete accident report files and manage any and all OOS tickets/violations regarding driver or equipment.

The position also requires you to update daily and weekly spreadsheets, sort and file paperwork and any other assigned tasks. This is NOT a work from home position. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm and this position does require you to be on call after hours.

Starting pay for this position is $60,000 + per year depending on experience . We offer a competitive benefits package as well.
