GENERAL DESCRIPTION

As the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead, you will work closely with our business partners, technologists, and the executive leadership team to deliver modern digital solutions. Your role as the IAM Lead will require an understanding of the organization, business goals, and technology vision. You will enjoy creating notational architectures and roadmaps that leverages OAG's products and capabilities to deliver best in class value-based outcomes. Architecting solutions may include activities such as executing workshops, conducting client interviews, collecting business requirements, user journey mapping, doing secondary research, soliciting guidance from account teams and industry specialists, and working with technical specialists and product managers. You will leverage solutions, engineering, and IT leadership skills, as well as your IT industry knowledge to provide innovative solutions on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the development of strategic solutions and initiatives of our key internal customers.
  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, application integration, automation and improvement of client solutions in Identity Access Management.
  • Understand the customer's business objectives, IT initiatives, and IT environment and match them with OAG's value proposition, vision, technologies, and services to create scalable solutions.
  • Experience and knowledge of implementation of Single Sign on, Microsoft Federation, Directory Service Integration, Multifactor Authentication and Web Access Management.
  • Provide guidance and suggestion on the best approach recommended on migrating or onboarding new applications into OKTA. Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently during onboarding activities.
  • Experience as Principal Cloud Architect for major Cloud platform - AWS, Azure, Salesforce etc. Design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available and dynamic Cloud solutions to drive OAG business objectives.
  • Lead disparate teams in solution meetings and proposals development with business partners, technologists, other members of the organization and vendors.
  • Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement areas.
  • Participate in the identification, qualification, and prioritization of a product development pipeline.
  • Pro-actively maintain expertise of IT industry standard technologies via provided enablement and online training offerings.
  • Maintain technical and business knowledge of industry direction and trends.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings and architectures.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
  • Maintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • May lead, mentor and train others.
  • Attends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work schedule. Telework schedules are permitted for employees based on the agency's approved Telework Plan, if schedule does not adversely affect operations and service levels, and standard hours of operation are maintained.
  • Ensures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected information.
  • Complies with all agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity.




Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Experience: Seven years of full-time experience working in the following (or closely related) fields: Information Technology, or Cloud Computing - AWS, Azure, Salesforce and Identity and Access Management role (Okta); Education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Skill in the following areas: Application Development, Enterprise Networking, System Engineering, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Scripting Skillset and Identity and Access Management
  • Skill in the following areas: IT Transformation, IT System Administration, Application Architecture, Systems Design, End User Design, Mobile Computing, Identity and Access Management, IT Governance, DevOps and Security
  • Skill in IT strategy and execution
  • Skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making
  • Ability to Design and Propose Enterprise Architecture solutions to Executive Leadership
  • Ability to receive and respond positively to constructive feedback
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environment
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours as needed and in compliance with the FLSA
  • Ability to lift and relocate 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel (including overnight travel) up to 5%


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: IT Team/Departmental Leadership OR Organizational Transformation experience
  • Five years as a Team Lead in Cloud Computing or Identity Access Management. Leading Business and IT teams to assist with the initial user-centric application design, and to clearly establish workflow and functions based on roles and responsibility.
  • Three years of professional experience building out solutions with cloud-based PaaS or SaaS technologies.
  • Five years of solution design and implementation.
  • Five years of experience in developing, positioning, and implementing business aligned IT strategies, architectures, roadmaps, and proposals.
  • Five years of working knowledge of multiple agile methodologies, lean engineering principles, and software development tools/methodologies
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications (Examples include: ITIL, AWS, Azure Cloud, Okta)
