This role is for an expert Offer and Order Project Manager in the newly announced Transformers Repair Center Factory at Charlotte, North Carolina, USA! The candidate must have a solid understanding of Project Management principles to execute customer as well as capital projects according to safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements. The facility is planned to be built by early 2026 for production commencement. Consequently, the first part of the journey in this role in our Company will involve overseeing the construction of the factory and the implementation of new processes, as well as managing the development of a high-performance team and coordinating all aspects of the factory setup to prepare for production.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Implement efficient and effective processes and systems to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer orders, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Project Oversight and Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: identify and handle project risks, issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
  • Resolve conflicts and raise issues as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in project delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies.
  • Implement lessons learned and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of Project Management experience, including management of complex, high-value projects, preferably related in service and/or power transformers, construction and business development projects.
  • Ability to lead cradle-to-grave project management oversight involving sales, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and shipment of power plant equipment.
  • PMP or IPMA Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision.
  • Proven track record to drive innovation, implement process improvements, and coordination with manufacturing, suppliers, and customer.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC
