Kavaliro has been selected by a large clean energy company to find a Project Manager, Operational Systems on long-term contract to hire opportunity.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operational Systems Project Manager to lead and oversee projects related to operational systems, with a specific focus on Aveva PI, GE EMS, MAXIMO, EZ MAX, MV 90, Conditioned Based Monitoring, VT SCADA, Tagspro, and HSSE systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee projects related to operational systems, with a focus on HSSE.
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and requirements for operational system implementations and enhancements.
• Define the system infrastructure requirements (Cloud, Physical, SAAS) for each system, including the production, QA, and testing environments.
• Work closely with stakeholders to communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, providing guidance on best practices in HSSE management.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to procure necessary resources and technologies for HSSE projects.
• Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, address challenges, and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on project status, milestones, and HSSE metrics for management and regulatory purposes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting HSSE, incorporating relevant updates into project strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in operational systems, with a focus on HSSE.
• Strong understanding of HSSE principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and drive successful project outcomes.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
