Job Summary:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



Hospitality Management

  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and appearance of Lockton common areas including main breakroom, kitchens, meeting rooms, and production/supply room.
  • Coordination (setup/cleanup) of in-office events, including company parties and social gatherings.
  • Coordination of A/V, food & beverage, and other items as requested for meetings held within the office.
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service to all Producers, Associates, visitors, guests, and vendors.


Facilities Management

  • Coordinate workspace moves, repairs, and office space tours.
  • Office and cubicle preparation for new associates.
  • Office and cubicle breakdown for departing associates.
  • Order/maintain office supplies, print supplies, other stock, etc.
  • Liaison with building property management company for maintenance, security, and other facilities requests as needed.


Light Administrative Tasks

  • Assist with printing and binding requests.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and shipping.
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, field and answer questions, refer callers to appropriate Associates, or take messages.
  • Monitor reception desk and lobby entrance for reception breaks/absences.
  • Monitor Office and Print mailboxes to assist with associate requests or concerns.


Requirements:

  • Some higher education/office experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently/team environment to be able to share responsibilities and seek guidance and assistance from other team members as needed.
  • Multi-line phone/reception experience desirable; ability to hear and speak clearly.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment.
  • Organization and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal clients and external vendors and develop strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to follow and monitor all department procedures and practices.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs. Able to use a dolly/hand cart as needed.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
