Jefferson is looking for a full time Onboarding Specialist to support the Talent Acquisition teams. This is a 50% hybrid position, reporting to the Center City office.
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Serve as main point of contact for new hires regarding post offer inquiries
  • Gathers & analyzes data on new hire onboarding experiences to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements
  • Send out new hire paperwork via Destination Jefferson, inform new hires of the required documentation/clearances for the position
  • Complete background checks for all new hires
  • Posts new positions for the TA team
  • Responsible for collecting all documentation and clearances from the new hires required before start date and after start date
  • Create employee files with all required documentation per job description and Joint Commission standards
  • Inform Talent Acquisition Team of new hires that did not complete/clear pre-employment requirements or who did attend the scheduled new employee orientation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required. College Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years' Human Resources related experience required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, customer service and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Word Processing and Spreadsheet software packages preferred.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with confidential information.
