Job Summary:
Support a research team of economists and physicians on several studies related to healthcare for older adults. Create and work with linked data to understand the relationships between financial behaviors and health and impacts of policy changes on the quality and efficiency of healthcare for the elderly. Gain hands-on experience in many dimensions of health economics and health services research working on studies with immediate clinical and policy relevance. This position is ideal for early career researchers considering PhD programs and other independent research careers.

PRA: $37,000 - $76,000
Senior PRA: $49,000 - $100,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.

- Bachelor's degree prior to starting position
- Experience with large data sets and econometrics
Senior PRA
- PRA requirements above and
- Prior research experience including publications or equivalent
- Master's degree prior to starting position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience programming in Stata
- Econometrics and related coursework/research experience
- Familiarity with the US healthcare system
- Interests in health policy, medicine, economics, especially for older adults
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Data management, programming and analytical skills
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent written communication
- Ability to multitask
- For Senior PRA position, prefer ability to independently manage aspects of large research projects such as leading a paper or managing data core
- Knowledge of econometrics, statistics, or data science at the degree level
