We are currently looking for a Full Time Operations Shift Supervisor, NB to join our team located at the Lakecrest Hotel and Casino

Summary:

Responsibilities:
* Maintains files, logs, and records
* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
* Maintain knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Prepares weekly reports
* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
* Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
- Participates in candidate selection process
- Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
- Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
- Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
- Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
- Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
* Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
* May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
* Resolves guest complaints using reflective listening, courtesy, and providing financial resolution as needed to create a winning experience for the customer and facility
* Compares machine and ticket discrepancies by using the ACSC system as needed
* Prepares shift reports
* Resolves internal complaints by conducting investigations
* Schedules staff based on worker availability and arrange for contingency staff based on business needs and/or guest satisfaction standards on designated shift and redirects the labor force according to changing activity during a shift
* May direct and support staff in other areas as needed
* All other duties as assigned

Skills:
Essential:
* Basic Computer skills
* Complete level 1 Core Leadership Training within 12 mos
* Perform minor repairs on gaming machines
* Possesses and utilizes basic mathematics skills
* Must be familiar with the MS Office Suite of products
* Must be able to operate related office equipment

Experience:
Essential:
* 1 year directly related experience

Nonessential:
* 1 year directly related supervisory experience

Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:
Essential:
* Pass gaming background check
* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position

Nonessential:
* So You Want to Be a Supervisor training
* Participation in Fast Track Leadership Training program
