This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Overview:
Facilitates and supports the development of content and configuration changes, packages, and defect adjudication.
- Serves as liaison between the clinical, business and information technology communities
- Contributes to sub-specialty reports; produces metrics toward Issue Resolution process and direct system outputs
- Supports approved catalog maintenance activities
- Facilitates solution area owner and/or working group in key decision-making regarding specialty activities
- Assists in informational and decision briefings to TMI Branch Chief, DHA HI Division Chief, and higher-level leadership
Responsibilities: The Healthcare Data Analyst will support the following tasks/areas:
- Work with the Organizational Change Management Team and the client on processes redesign for Ticket Resolution and sustainment processes within the Health Informatics sustainment organization
- Improve ways that the client interacts with other aspects of DoD, FEHRM and VA Healthcare positively creating efficiencies within the branch
- Coordinate with core functional teams to understand current processes and create improvement opportunities
- Educate new working group team members on configuration processes (i.e. issue resolution (SaAB process), working group member roles and responsibilities, defect review process, etc.)
- Assist with documentation of and supporting materials for new internal processes
- Work with implementation team to define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the team
- Developing communication strategies to aid with key insights and findings to the team
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Qualifications:
- 6 + years of organizational development or change management experience
- Previous experience working for Defense Health Agency or other Healthcare organization is preferred
- Working Knowledge of DHA suite of Electronic Health Care applications, to include MHS GENESIS (Preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working with process mapping, organizational design, communications strategy and planning, leadership development, facilitation skills and strategy
- Capable of project management coordinating activities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills including technical writing skills
- MS Office, Visio, PPT, SharePoint
- Familiarity with Military Health Systems and/or Defense Health Agency
- Military experience preferred
Preferred Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters Preferred), in Psychology, Organizational Development, or related business discipline
- CCMP, PROSCI, MBTI, DISC, EQi 2.0, Green Belt, HR Analytics Certifications desired
