The role you 'll contribute : The Contract Specialist - Physician Development is responsible for the development of various types of physician employment agreements and other agreements in a wide variety of specialties under the supervision of an attorney. This function will be carried out using templates and a contract life cycle workflow system. The Contract Specialist - Physician Development will collaborate with other team members including operational leaders and department colleagues.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Serves as a primary contact with medical group administration and operators to understand the medical group lines of business and what type of physician employment agreement or other type of agreement is needed.

• Uses the applicable existing template agreements to create medical group physician agreements.

• Ensures all correspondence and documents are professional and are organized in a clear, concise, manner.

• Manages stressful situations with tact and calmness

Qualifications
The expertise and e xperiences you'll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :
  • 4-year bachelor's degree or associate degree in a legal field and 3-years' experience in a professional role as a paralegal AND At least 1-year of contract drafting
  • OR 5-years' experience as a paralegal or related work experience

Preferred qualification:
  • Certified Paralegal with 3 plus year of experience in drafting contracts.
