Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The PT Coordinator I, Student Services performs standard and some a dvanced administrative duties. Duties such as handling budgeting, payroll, human reso urces process, and purchasing. Basic duties may include receiving and logging information, making copies, sorting and distributing mail, preparing correspondence or basic documents, answering routine questions and inquiries, providing information and directions and providing a service oriented environment. Activities are routine but may involve non-routine requests or specialized information.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient use of standard office computer technology with the ability to utilize computer applications to access data, maintain records, and generate reports
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work cooperatively as a member of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in decision making
- Must be detail oriented and precise
- Action oriented with a strong commitment to continuous self and process improvements
- Excellent oral and written communication

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combinat ion of education and experience
Salary
Hourly Pay Rate is $16.40
