Description
The Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago invites applications for a position as part-time Lecturer to teach courses in any genre of British Modernism and related areas, as well as in the University’s Core curriculum. The expected start date of the position is July 1, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The selected candidate will teach four courses per year. This will normally include two courses in the Department of English and two courses in the Humanities Core in the College. The selected candidate may also advise a limited number of BA and MA theses per year, as needed. The initial term of appointment will be for a minimum of 3 years, with longer appointment terms possible depending on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.

- and experience teaching any genre of British Modernism at the University level.
