Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville - Remote - Must live in area

The role you'll contribute: The Patient Resource Team, often the first contact a caller has with AdventHealth Hendersonville, provides a warm, friendly and professional greeting from a Patient Resource Representative. Patience, empathy, compassion and helpfulness are the hallmarks of our team. Callers depend on the excellent, personalized customer service they receive every day, one call at a time.

The value you'll bring to the team
  • Answer on average 80-130 calls per day;
  • Provide excellent customer service to each caller
  • Access a variety of resources for accurate, complete and appropriate management of calls
  • Assist callers and patients with a variety of needs including:
    • Selecting a new provider, scheduling new patient appointment, & preparing patient for first appointment
    • Scheduling new and established patient appointments
    • Assisting patients with patient portal access
    • Communicating prescription refill requests and other messages to clinic staff


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • One-year + medical office experience preferred
