Responsibilities

The Patient Service Representative will perform various functions in Home Health that support the clinical and daily operations of the agency. Responsible for answering and directing telephone calls and messages to the agency and coordinating calls with clinicians supervisors intake and office staff. Responsible for handling the electronic and paper medical and billing record; sorting faxing filing photocopying data charge entry medical supply ordering and charge entry patient admission packets education materials management and other tasks that support the operations of the agency.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • This position requires six months of health care experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education in an accredited medical training program
  • Course work in medical terminology

PREFERRED:
  • Post high school formal training.
  • Bilingual.
