Summary

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $2000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.
  Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
  former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.

Your role:
Lincoln Medical Partners Ophthalmology | MaineHealth is searching for a full-time Patient Service Representative (PSR). The patient service representative (PSR) will be responsible to greet patients in a friendly manner, upon arrival, answer telephones, schedule appointments and other general office duties as assigned. The PSR will also be responsible for collecting data from patients, collection of copayments and obtaining insurance referrals for applicable patients. PSR must comply with the federal, state and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: N/A

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Ability to deal in simple monetary exchanges regarding copays.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
