For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $2000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.
    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
    former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position. This position will have the flexibility to be hybrid once the person is fully trained. This position requires ½ day Saturdays.

Your Role:
Lincoln Medical Partners Primary Care | MaineHealth is a family and internal medicine primary care practice. Primary care is your first stop for health care. From newborns to the elderly, our compassionate physicians specialize in the overall health and wellness of all family members. The Patient Service Representative (PSR) will be greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties. The PSR will also collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while complying with the federal, state and MaineHealth confidentiality policies. The PSR will also be working with Primary Care Department in the same location and performing the same office duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: N/A
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
    • Ability to deal in simple monetary exchanges in regards to copays.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
