Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a people operations role.
  • Experience in ADA compliance or a similar legal compliance role is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of ADA regulations and compliance requirements.

Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking People Operation Manager to join our team at our program. This is a remote position.

This position will serve as the Human Resources primary point of contact for all Merakey corporate departments. This role will be responsible for the development and on-going compliance of HR/People Operations policies and processes and work strategically with HR departments to develop and ensure alignment and consistency in their HR and workforce practices. This position will oversee coordination of labor law compliance including ADA/PWFA.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues within the corporate departments. This includes addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring that all employees feel heard and supported. Handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Performance Development : Provides consultation and support on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary processes for corporate departments
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Maintain, Monitor, Develop, Implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develops and maintains employee handbook. Serves the HR representative on the Enterprise Policy Committee.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure enterprise compliance with ADA regulations, including conducting regular audits and assessments of workplace accessibility.
  • Legal Collaboration: Work closely with legal teams to address any HR Compliance and/or ADA-related issues and ensure the company's legal obligations are met.
  • Accommodation Requests: Develop, Manage and Monitor the process for employee requests for reasonable accommodations, including assessments, documentation, and implementation.
  • Accessibility Initiatives: Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to ensure physical and digital workspaces are accessible to all employees.
  • People Leader: Manage ADA Coordinator position to support ADA process, monitoring and reporting.
  • Corporate Projects: Support People Ops Leadership in special enterprise HR initiatives .
  • Employee Experience: Design and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the corporate departments.
