For more than 70 years Mercy Medical Center Redding has offered comprehensive health care in the North State providing acute care and a full range of medical services. The 267-bed hospital offers major medical services including a Level II Trauma Center as well as specialized Cardiovascular Care Stroke Care Orthopedics Neurological Surgery Comprehensive Cancer Care Maternity Care and da Vinci Robotic Surgery. It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. In addition the hospital's network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living. Mercy Medical Center Redding is a member of the Dignity Health system and is a sister facility to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for working closely with Management Obstetrical physicians and Nursing staff to assure 100% of the Perinatal Safety Initiatives are fully implemented and reporting monthly status. The incumbent incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management. In addition the incumbent trains and communicates to staff in carrying out departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Incumbent is also responsible for ensuring data is submitted to both CMQCC and CPQCC as well as monitor for correct charging for procedures. The incumbent reports to the Director Maternal Child Services.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years Maternal Child Health Services experience
- RN CT RNC-MNN CT CPRBLS NRP-RQI
- Verbal and written communication skills and working knowledge of Google Workspace
Preferred
- Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
- Working knowledge of computerized charting system
- ACLS Advanced Fetal Monitoring
