HYBRID TELEWORK
Eligible for telework in accordance with CDIs telework policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Management Division (HRMD) Performance, Payroll, and Benefits Bureau Manager, Staff Services Manager (SSM) II, the SSM I, Personnel and Disability Transactions Unit (PDTU) Manager, supervises, plans, organizes and directs staff in the PDTU, including Position Control. This position provides a broad range of personnel services to programs within the California Department of Insurance (CDI), in accordance with related civil service laws and rules governed by the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), State Personnel Board (SPB), State Controller's Office (SCO), and California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). The incumbent shall be able to interpret civil service laws and rules, personnel manuals, bargaining unit contracts, and Departmental policies and procedures. Duties will include access to confidential information systems containing protected enrollee information, including general tax information, protected health information, and personally identifiable information.
