The role you'll contribute:

The PFS Operations Specialist is responsible for providing data compilation and analysis support to the Divisional PFS Team areas. This will include preparation of financial spreadsheets, database development, finding new opportunities to streamline business processes, as well as other data special projects as assigned. Additionally, this position assists with the coordination of the implementation of new technology projects and/or processes, including testing and data integration efforts.

The value that you bring to the team:

• Apply technical expertise in the development of decision support information used in preparation of financial reporting for revenue cycle for Southeast Region Advent Health hospitals.

• Utilize a variety of software applications and data sources to produce reports and databases used by various departments for making strategic business decisions.

• Demonstrate independent thinking and creativity in development of standard reports and ad hoc analyses

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy while using large amounts of data

• Serve the department as a technical resource for various software applications

• Complete special projects assigned by the department leaders within the timeframe requested

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Minimum Associate of Arts degree in accounting, finance or computer technology

• Minimum of 2 years data analysis experience

• Financial analytical background/skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Healthcare financial/accounting experience preferred

• Four year degree in accounting, finance, computer technology preferred

• Revenue Cycle Operations experience preferred

• Working knowledge of Epic, Axiom and PowerBI
