We are seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN in Wausau, WI to work in our Inpatient Pharmacy departmentat Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.

Hours: Supplemental, 0.5FTE or 40 hours every 2 weeks. Day/PM shifts scheduled between 0600-2300.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizational and project management practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy and computers beneficial.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification beneficial.
• Required to register with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician if hired.
