Senior Field Service Technician

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Advanced Field Service Technician to provide exceptional service and support for highly technical products, including drives, PLCs, and SCADA systems. This role involves field service, repairs, and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field service, calibration, and repairs for drives and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC, SCADA, and discrete controllers.
• Lead training sessions for customers.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Contribute to a positive P&L statement.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma required.
  • Associates or BA/BS Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience in field service or engineering required. Experience with highly technical products is essential.
  • 5+ years of related experience preferred. Expertise in drives and control systems, especially Parker Hannifin drives. Knowledge of communication protocols and web handling applications is advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Familiarity with drives and control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC control, AC/DC drive control, or SCADA systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule with occasional travel and on-call duties.

Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable automobile.
