This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced pharmacy technology, including Swisslog Boxpicker, Inventory Management, automated tablet packager and Omnicell. The Pharmacy Systems Analyst will serve as a leader in the department as the administrator for all applications used by the team. To be successful, this person must be proactive and flexible to assist in various roles, including Pharmacy Technician duties. The Pharmacy Systems Analyst partners with leadership to use data to identify opportunities for improvement. The Analyst will also serve as a liaison between the pharmacy and Information Systems (IS/IT) team to communicate information regarding applications. The Analyst will work closely with the pharmacy technicians to manage inventory in the hospital.
Other responsibilities include:
• Maintains department specific databases and ensures accuracy of data.
• Applies broad knowledge in providing data analytics services to clients.
• Gathers operational data to examine past business performance.
• Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
• Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.
• May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.
• Translates business requirements into business solutions.
• Designs and tests system configuration.
• Conducts quality reviews of system builds.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Good critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of database functionality with ability to translate customer requests into actionable reports.
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License
- Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Pharmacy related fields or equivalent experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience using Excel for data analysis
