POSITION SUMMARY:

Houston Dash is seeking candidates for a Player Care Coordinator. This individual will help coordinate and manage all Dash player and staff relocations, develop relationships with player and staff families, and ensure a smooth transition into Houston and while in market.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act on behalf of the club as the main point of contact for all players for any off-field matters including but not limited to questions about transportation, housing, non-soccer activities, personal matters, etc.
  • Manage relocations and logistics for First Team players and staff into Houston, while in market, and during team travel.
  • Manage team housing including rent, utilities, etc.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and resource for families and partners of players and staff on all relocation and transition matters.
  • Ensure all NWSL requirements and protocols are followed for games, training sessions, and daily proceedings.
  • Enter and monitor player HR information and take certain action dependent upon that information.
  • Develop and implement a plan of social events for First Team players and staff.
  • Be available to assist families while the team is traveling.
  • Provide operational support for team training and gameday experience.
  • Ensure player and first team staff families have a smooth gameday experience and manage family room.
  • Support with team travel in organizing meals, rental cars, etc.
  • Provide operational support in managing the training facility with team meals, supplies, snacks, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Background and or experience working in administrative roles or within the sports industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree - preferred
  • Professional soccer playing career experience - preferred
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish - preferred
  • Strong computer and administrative skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office/Outlook products with a focus in Excel, Word, OneDrive, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (copier, scanner, fax machine, etc.)
  • This role requires a valid driver's license and use of your own personal vehicle

  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional work hours.
  • Ability to work irregular hours as needed, as dictated by event schedules and project timetables. Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the team or facility.

  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, managing several projects simultaneously.
