POSITION OVERVIEW :

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our software conversion project. 

This role involves creating a robust enterprise dataset and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI and a solid understanding of data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.

Create an enterprise dataset from multiple data sources, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Power BI functionalities.

Ensure best practices are followed for data visualization and reporting.

Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.

Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.

Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure) is a plus. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous but not required.

Education: Bachelors Degree
