As a Principal Engineer I, you will use your engineering expertise to build and maintain software applications that enhance the company's internal processes to better serve our customers.

WHAT OUR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER I'S ENJOY MOST

• Designing, implementing, monitoring, enhancing, and troubleshooting systems in assigned areas
• Analyzing and revising existing system logic difficulties and documentation
• Testing and reviewing system designs
• Providing engineering technical support and guidance to regional personnel
• Ensuring all technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation are met
• Mentoring and guiding the work of technical staff and ensuring adherence to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations

In this role you will work with design teams and technical operations staff on system design and configuration. You will excel in this role if you can perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and learn new technology quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Engineering and Project Management: 5 years or more
• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or work experience
• Skills: Basic knowledge of the following: related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.); Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and Transport technologies and protocols; in network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology; TCP/IP and the OSI Model; using ticketing and software tools to support current operations; network devices and basic network appliances; network designing software, such as Visio
• Working conditions: Office environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills: Expert knowledge of the following: C#, .NET 6.0, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Git, Dockers, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, HelmCharts, SOAP Based Service, Rest API UI Technologies: Angular 17.0++, HTML, JavaScript, SASS Database : MariaDB, MS-SQL;
• Knowledge: Spectrum products and services
