In this process engineering role, you will drive continuous improvement of production processes and enhance the quality of the products we produce. You will also collaborate with the product development department to create new processes and technologies, making a lasting impact on production efficiency and product quality in our plant.

Job Purpose:

Improve existing production processes and develop new ones to ensure optimal efficiency and high-quality output. Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and development teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and identify new opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously improve production processes and analyze process data for efficiency gains.
  • Establish and maintain optimal line conditions for production processes.
  • Set up and monitor trials for new product development.
  • Participate in non-conforming material review meetings to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to improve troubleshooting skills and provide training.
  • Keep production procedures updated and interface with maintenance to prioritize preventative maintenance (PM) work.
  • Identify and implement new technologies that enhance process capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in either a chemical, plastics or other continuous process oriented manufacturing industry.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong understanding of technical processes, with an ability to multitask across several projects.
  • Proven ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience using project management tools to manage timelines and deliverables.
