Your Role:

EMD Electronics is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist. This role is responsible for the central EHS data maintenance for toxicological, ecotoxicological, and physical chemical property information in SAP based on GHS/DG (Global Harmonized System/Dangerous Goods) guidelines. You will review test reports and determine hazardous classification by GHS and DG. This position will also involve communication with all stakeholders to provide regulatory solution.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology and 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field OR
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology and 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field OR
  • PhD in Chemistry or Toxicology and 1+ of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in using UN GHS/DG guidelines and hazard communication
  • Understanding of the toxicological, ecotoxicological and physical chemical property (test reports)
  • Data analysis capability
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in operation of SAP EHS system


Pay Range for this position - $49,500 - $148,900
