Apex has an immediate need for a Product Manager in a Finance Technology team to support product discovery, development, and delivery for our Fortune 20client!!
Ideal candidates will have the following:
  • Product Management experience within a large, complex organization (discovery, prioritization, go-to-market, post-release measurement)
  • Able to adequately engage with engineering & architecture teams to evaluate design decisions, considering technical benefits of short vs. long-term solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data concepts and integration patterns between multiple upstream and downstream systems
  • Prior experience road mapping & a deepunderstanding of stakeholder management & requirements gathering
  • General understanding of accounting and finance concepts in retail, supply chain, logistics, and/or manufacturing
  • Proficient with MS Office, Teams, JIRA, & Confluence, Productboard
  • Experience with any Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, Oracle ERP/EPM, Essbase, Alation, DataBricks

This Product Manager will be responsible forsupporting enhancements related to Oracle Financial Cloud, specifically standardizing data ingestion patterns from upstream applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all technical aspects of product through product lifecycle

• Work directly and indirectly with business stakeholders, vendors and third parties to ensure execution of deliverables

• Create, mainta in and communicate produ ct catalog and technology roadmaps, including near-term delivery, to engage stakeholders across the organization

• Identify, measure and improve key product catalog metrics to enhance the customer experience, and create a compelling, relevant product vision using web metrics, customer insights, feedback, research and internal operational metrics

• Elicit, define and analyze medium to complex requirements in various formats ensuring they are testable, measurable and traceable

• Set criteria for minimum viable product to increase the speed/frequency with which enhancements and new capabilities are delivered

• Lead the appropriate teams to refine, prioritize and manage requirements using various tools (e.g., templates, team backlogs, requirements management or agile task management applications)

• Lead requirement walk-throughs with key stakeholders using various methods (e.g., team demos, workshops, sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions)

• Identify and estimate anticipated work efforts based on priority using requirement work plans, program increment (PI) planning, and sprint planning

• Define and resolve dependencies, issues and risks and identify impacted areas through team collaboration

• Break down a medium to complex vision into smaller projects, initiatives or features
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Skills- evaluate problems with objectivity and rationale, evaluating pros and cons of multiple options by weighing overall business impact, effort, and time constraints
  • Conflict Resolution Abilities- diplomatic and able to provide constructive data-driven feedback to guide mutually beneficial decisions, often with director and vp level stakeholders
  • Adaptability - must be personally flexible and adaptable, and able to positively manage change with peers & stakeholders
